Modification of Bicycle light from DX

Hi There,

first of all, if this is the wrong area to post, my apologies, wasn't quite sure were to put it.

I have bought a bicycle light: 3000lm 3-Mode White Bicycle Headlamp w/ 5 x Cree XM-L T6 - Dark Grey (4 x 18650) (192065)

Nice toy for my bike, but i just hate the modeswitch on those things. Ik would like to apply power to the cable and have the light turn on in full mode. There is a driver board inside wich maybe i can modify, but i have no clue wich components have to be added, removed, replaced. I know some basic eletronics, can solder and know how to handle SMD components.
Maybe somebody knows or recognizes the driver and can point me in the right direction.

The driver is junk seems to be the consensus.

It sounds like a completely new driver is needed to get the interface you want. This is a source of excellent ones:

Whether you can fit the appropriate driver in the case so you get heat monitoring also (very important) is also a concern.
