Recently I read about McGizmos mule.
http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=150974

The mule is a CREE light for closer tasks, without reflector, all flood no throw.

I decided to use a Civictor to make a test with a "poor mans mule".
The result:
beam diameter 2 m at 1 m distance (more than the SF L2 / L4),
very bright/no spot

All I can say: McGizmos concept is genial!

Cool! Clean mod!!

Can I claim IP to the utter lack of something? Like a secondary optic? :nana:

Anybody else who wants to do a mod of similar design concept can send me a self addressed and stamped envelope and a $10 bill. I will return the SASE with nothing in it and you can install that nothing in place of a secondary optic. :) If there is enough interest, I might be able to drop the price to a $5 bill! :poke:

OK, I make joke! :p

Seriously, nicely done and executed.

Secondary optic? Electronic stuff?? Titan??? Saphir lenses????

As I said before: "poor mans mule" ;)
