Hi guys,

I have 30 titanium mule sets which are now available for building out as needed. For those not familiar with the mule, you can reference the orignial wave, HERE. I am offering a Mizer option for an additional $15. The Mizer option consists of a sense resistor change which puts the lights high output at approximately 300 mA VS the stock 525 mA.

These all have a white H3 vial in the piston.

These lights are $405 ($420 - Mizer) plus shipping and any insurance requested. By default, I will ship by either priority mail or international priority mail unless requested to ship in a different fashion.

To recap and highlight:

30 ea. PD-Mule (Mizer) - $405 ea. ($420 ea. with requested Mizer option)

If you want one of these, please specify the item in the subject of your e-mail order. In the body of your e-mail order, please include your CPF handle as well as real name and shipping address and phone number.

These will go on a first ordered first served basis and based on a clear and unambigious order received via e-mail. For general ordering, shipping and warranty info, please refer to THIS THREAD.

Once I receive your order, I will reply with a confirmation of receipt and let you know your order is in process. After I generate postage and am in process of shipping the light, I will send you an e-mail with the total indicated in the subject line. Upon receipt of this e-mail, payment is requested and appreciated!!

This post is essentially a duplicate of the August wave post but I believe the demand for the mules has reached a more moderate level and I suspect these will last for a while here. Since I have not built all of these out yet, there may be delays of a day or so depending on when I receive a request and what else is going on at the time. I have a bunch of component assembly work to do for upcoming waves of PD-S, S27-PD's and the LunaSol 27 PD.

Well, thanks for looking! :)

The mules return!

This is too ironic, Don; I finally get to be first in line for one of your waves...and it's the only wave I don't need to ride! I'm waxing my surfboard waiting for the LunaSol wave.

But scarcity is no fun without prognostication. Because so many people have been able to catch the mule waves lately, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this one will last a whopping 24 hours and 32 minutes. That's right - I'm predicting an entire day. =)

I hope these last longer than that since I don't even have all the converters I need yet! :green:

I think the mule is one of the best suited lights I have designed and built in terms of performing to its intended use without compromise. It may be the best and most useful light I have come up with. I have been surprised at how well it has been received on CPF given its utter lack of lux power! :D

With all of the other lights and projects in the works, these may be the last Ti PD Mules for quite some time if not the last ones, period. Only time and interest will tell.

I didn't call this offering a wave because I expect it to behave more like a gentle tide that has a bit of surge up and then quietly resides.

Re: More Ti PD Mules

I made it! :twothumbs But.............. No AlTiN coatings? No Beadblasting? These Ti Mule lights don`t need any of that shtuff anyway! :D

Gettem while the gettins good folks! :naughty:

Re: More Ti PD Mules

May I reccomend the Mizer option?

Just trust me on this one folks.....
So, in summary, I think you were referring to the various posts in this thread:

Glad I took the Mizer option. :) Now that I have Don's confirmation and have sent my PP, I am now officially broke. :broke: I'm going to have to get rid of a couple of the older lights I never use. Can see a sale coming up in the next couple of days. :shakehead

Re: More Ti PD Mules

now you guys have got me thinking about getting the Mizer instead...
Does anyone know the difference in output (high and low) and runtime between the Mizer and Non-Mizer???

Re: More Ti PD Mules

Same low high on Mizer is 325ma and non 525ma runtime is 3hr and 1hr respectively on primaries and 2hr and 40min with rechargeables, brightness is barely noticeable. Heat dissipation is much worse in the regular version due to titanium being a bad head conductor and the smaller head. Go mizer otherwise you'll feel sorry.
