I'm blessed to work as a Director of Operations of a mid-sized zoo. Today I had the opportunity to use my Novatac 120P with a tactical switch in some unusual ways. During a diagnostic procedure today with our 400 lb male gorilla the human doctors and vets needed......you guess it.....LIGHT! Light for several things to include spotting a location to insert IV needles and, a rectal thermometer! How interesting is that? I was happy to oblige and it worked GREAT for several procedures. Unfortunately my rechargeable battery started pooping out on me (nice twist there eh) but it did the job for several IV sticks and rectal probes. The gorilla is doing well (there were some other amazing things going on that I won't discuss) and we expect the best. Just wanted to share and encourage folks to whip those lights out at every opportunity--people appreciate it. BTW....the vet tech helping with the IV sticks actually preferred my nice white light to the replacement CFL lamp that was brought over.
