Is the Eagletac P10C2 the most powerful small pocket light? Or light for its size? And price?

I'v owned one for about a month and its pretty friggen bright, Iv never had a light like it before, the only "nice" flashlight iv owned before in that size is the minimag AA, and I have a 4D cell mag.

Iv showed my friends it, and they were highly impressed, I challenged them to look into the light, and nobody could do for more than a few seconds, Iv scared large, mean, pit bulls and rotwillers with it.
I think the thing is well built, very bright and pretty neat.

I just want to know if theres anything else out there like it, in size, reliablity, price, ect..

I'v herd of "the torch" by wicked lasers,(4100lumens) a 3 LED drop in module for a 4Cell maglight, that makes 500 lumens, and Iv herd of the polarion helios(5K lumens)

All of those are expensive, probably except the terralux drop in for the mag, which Im considering getting.

But I want to know, if I offcially have the brightest small, pocket light.
The thing is rated at 295 lumens

I see your friends are not flashaholics...

In the pocket range i think the T10C2 is the brightest in numbers for single emitter light, 280+ lumens. If you dont mind something a little bit bigger get a P7 or a multi-CREE. The other ones are either HID or high pressure xenon, which consumes many times more than the LEDs and costs way much more also.

And :welcome: !

I would say yes, this light is pretty much on top as far as brightness (lumen output) goes.
It's an excellent all around light. EagleTac is doing some good things.

I wouldn't shine that sucker in anyone's eyes if i were you.
And welcome to the brotherhood of lumen addics.

Yeah, iv owned the light for about a month, and im beginning to realize that. Its pretty much "weapons grade bright" As in its probably dangerous, to shine at people. But Im a young guy, and I have a thing for excessive things. Such as an excessively bright flashlight.

But I love my eagletac. And I stoped daring people to stare at the light.

An MC-E modded P60 light should be pocketable and crazy bright, about 600 lumens wouldn't be unreasonable, just make sure it's well heatsinked. A good light would be a Deree DBS with an MC-E pill.

I was impressed with the Eagletac P10C2 as far as the output for the size of the light. For something smaller and close in output, the Dereelight C2H is a little pocket rocket.

Once Dereelight has a reflector available for the MC-E in a CL1H I think that will be a fun set up. :)

Any of the inexpensive p7s at DX or Kaidomain are much brighter, having somewhat comparable throw and huge amounts of flood. Appx. $60 will get you a P7 flash, a couple 18650 rechargeable and a charger.

Be sure to get at least a 2-mode light, as these are too bright on high for most practical uses. Absolutely GREAT on high for "What the heck was that noise outside in the yard?!" :D

edited for spelling

I've modded several "pocketable" lights with P7's and MC-E's and the two I like best are my huntlight with P7 modded module, and an ultrafire C2 with P7 and stock OP reflector. Both put out crazy amounts of light and both are driven by one 18650 LiIon battery. Of the two, the ultrafire posseses more throw and a cleaner tighter beam, and I find it the more functional of the two. I believe you can find these with P7 already installed at the usual chinese sites. Add a couple of AW's batteries and charger and for around $50 - $60 you'll have liftoff.

This is one of my favorite categories, and as of right now, the Elektrolumens EDC-P7 (700+ lumens, $130) and the Fivemega-emitter-assembly-6P (630 lumens, price varies by host $70-$130) are the two output champs. But thanks to the introduction of LiMN battery technology, this group is going to explode with newer, higher-output models over the next few months.

I'd suggest yoou look into lights with the Seoul P7 or the Cree MC-E LEDs. They can hit over 600 lumen if driven correctly.
