There's a plethora of dependable lights from a whole bunch of manufacturers, but aside from some minor differences in UI or charging or output, most of what I see tends to be the same.

So what are some unique options as of 2019 that offer features not found in any other lights?

Off the top of my head I can think of:
-NiteCore SRT7GT - mag ring UI, multicolor options
-Olight Warrior X - vibration battery indicator, cool design with blue bezel
-Acebeam W30 - LEP super-focused thrower
-Cool Fall SPY 007 - one-of-a-kind design with an interesting design

Modded: Four-Sevens MMU-X3 3 x XHP 50.2, 5,500 more than short burst lumens, 346 meters throw from a single cell 26650, in a classic, dependable host. Unique stats, and unique one-off mod, too.

Frelux Synergy1

(2xAAA, in over/under configuration)

Really LOVE mine !

* perhaps they came out pre-2019, but I just heard of them recently *

M361w in a round SureFire 6P with an Elzetta speed clip and wrist lanyard kit.

Nothing fancy, just practical.

One fellow gifted me a Rofis R2 and Maker T01, which are by far the most complicated UI's I acquired this year. A poor mans HDS, the Jetbeam RRT01 is the most practical light I acquired this year with its infinite adjusting ring. The Elzetta Bravo hi/lo was the one just for fun. A Kroll switch MD2 hi/lo with an M61NL was the coolest vintage model added this year.

I'm curious, where do you acquire your vintage lights?

The 6P was a beater on eBay with a perfect lens for $25 shipped. I waited 3 years to pull the trigger on one and had given up. Then one day searching for a Pentagon X2 it showed up in the search. Bam! Done.

The Malkoff was from the WTS here that had lingered several days, surprisingly with no buyer. "Alright, I'll take it" went through my brain and when it arrived it was not a disappointment.

My TibitZ.. I think it's unique.

I don't think it came out in 2019 but the most unique light I've seen is the Storm of Ra.

Nitecore Tup- 1000 lumen rechargeable keychain light with O l.e.d. display
Nitecore Tip 2- 720 lumen rechargeable keychain light with magnetic base and waterproof seal

There are some work lights that are unique as well:
Ridgid 18 volt 2500 lumen roll up light- can be mounted on a wall, or stood up in a circle, packs flat and is lightweight.
Milwaukee 12 and 18 volt Rover lights- can be mounted on metal with magnets, on wood with clamp, or on a scissor lift with clamp.
Milwaukee 72 volt 27000 lumen wind resistant stand light- has 10 foot motorized mast and puts out enough light to match a generator powered trailer Job site light.
