Motion sensor with remote alarm?

I'm looking for a motion sensor that can detect human movement within 50ft or so, and then use a radio signal to notify a receiver about a half-mile away. Any ideas? Bonus for being able to log the events. I have decent electronics skills and strong coding skills if I need to DIY.

I'll only be using it it one location. I'd like it to be discreet.

There is this, but it doesn't transmit far enough for your needs.

Maybe something that sends to your cell phone.

I think their 3000ft system would work. It's really closer to 1/4 mile, but there's a lot of trees and brush in the way.
