Hi,

today arrived the Aleph tailcap (standard). Now I'd like to mount the switch of the Z57 in the tailcap. But the plastic of the switch ist too big (diameter). Can I just reduce the plastic, or what should I do?

Thanks for your help...

Oh ... might be difficult. Don built one Aleph Cap with the Z57 internals in it, but they will fall out when unscrewed since they couldn't be fixed inside the cap AND it works a little bit unreliable sometimes.
Base line is ... I wouldn't do it, you can just use your Z57 on the Aleph. I do not see a benefit except the look for what you want to do.

If Pat is the one I think he is /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif, he bought that tailcap to replace the original L4 tailcap with it, not to use it on an Aleph light. The old tailstanding issue, you know?

Btw Bernhard, where am I supposed to send this glowing stuff that kept me awake last night? Send me an email asap, please.
