Mr. Bulky, I think that your vacation is over - it is about time for you to get back to work! As the very satisfied owner of an over-achieving lionheart, I am anxious to hear about your next project - the lioncub. I think that a variable output very small form-factor light will be just the ticket. With all the CR2 based lights on the drawing board, I believe that you could work your magic in this arena. As much as I like the lionheart, it is too big for me for EDC, please put me out my misery and make a CR2 sized lioncub.

Officially,I am first in line for the lioncub. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Regards.

Alright, 2nd in line
For #2 and #32 ofcourse /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

What characteristics and features would folks like to see in the lioncub?

Regards

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

From what has been hinted I thought that the lioncub would use a 150s battery and IMS 17mm reflector but otherwise be the same. Putting the switch in the tailcap would be great with what was said above hint hint.

Third in line. I'd like to see the same switch and electronics package that is in the LH go into the cub.

Please amaze me one more time. How could anything get past the bleeding cutting edge of the state of the art of the lion heart?

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

I assume MR Bulk will reveal the features when things are firmed up and the timing is right. But some of the ideas he was batting around made this light sound real compelling.

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

I am interested and trying to watch the threads in the event that it is released and a list goes up......

Interesting that the 150s has been suggested, as Mr B has alwas said smaller for the next project. The 150s would be slimer, but not really that much smaller. We shall see soon ......

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

maybe a something similar to lion heart only using rechargeable CR2 Cell (they DO exist!). maybe use IMS 20mm reflector, 3w lux and max. 600ma ? that way a 700mah RCR2 would last bout an hour.....

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

Sheesh Mike (and guys), I had no intention of mentioning much until the light was almost ready, and thus I cannot say anything more at this time other than another project is indeed underway, that it will indeed be smaller (and Not just "slimmer"), and that it will indeed have more features.

Unfortunately all signups/inquiries must be directed to Tactical Warehouse as I plan to be out of the ordertaking, packing and shipping business - maybe permanently - depending on how smoothly our partnership performs.

Again please direct any and all inquiries to TW (they may even be compiling a priority list at this time, we left it up to them), as I also plan to be out of the business of answering the incessant e-mail/PM deluges that this project will produce - especially once the specs, features, and optional LionHead are announced...

BTW, these will indeed be official CPF-approved Limited Editions, and only 200 total will be made. I have learned from last time that it is better to have not enough than too many, especially where QC and continuing demand are concerned.

Thank You all for your interest!

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

#64? I guess that matches up with your other one/s. But will they be serialized...? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

Mr. Bulk if you make another light available. I want # 006 if they are serialized. If not I just want 1-2. I will send TW an email. Thanks for making these sweet torches.

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

Okay okay, they WILL be serial numbered. And this is Really the absolute last word I'm saying about them...again. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

Charlie
According to their website, Tactical Warehouse only ships to the U.S. What about us foreigners?

I don't blame you. There are downsides to being a "one stop shop."

Re: Mr. Bulk, tell us your next project: Li-on Cub

Mrd 74,
there is a forum member who will ship on to you. You have to arrange with TW to send to him and he will post it to you (you pay the extra postage). I have done this with the CFP LH and the pocket clips, it was a very smooth process, no problem at all.
