Now that we know some juicy details of the Lion Cub (please keep giving us more information though), our thoughts turn to the identify of the Special Thing (ST). You have alluded to what the ST might be but stop short of what it actually is. This troublemaker's bet on the ST is that it has something to do with a CR2. Why would the Bulkmeister create a R123 light with modularity as its middle name when folks are begging for a CR2 size light with all the trimmings? Simple, the ST is a CR2 sized light. Yes mut, what cynix said, and to hold true to my promise that only LC buyers will have the (first) opportunity to buy their ST's, as soon as I verify with Dan at TW that the LionCubs have begun shipping I will then offer the ST to LC buyers. I will announce something either here or on a separate ST thread and then have LC buyers - those with their names appearing on the LionCub preorder list along with "paid" - simply PayPal me and then I'll ship ST's until they're all gone.
