I guess I will see what it looks like in real darkness, with night adjusted eyes to see if it will be a keeper.
thanks for the replies!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Funny thing...I also have a newer blu/green Infinity that measures only 75 [!] (with fresh alk.batt) on the G.E.meter, and the white one that I have measures 105 but looks considerably dimmer than the blue green one.Originally posted by Doug Meister:
A flashaholic maniac friend of mine crazed with LED lights - has an Infinity blue-green. He claims the blue-green is brighter than the white. So my question is: Is this new Ultra twice as bright as the blue-green Infinity???

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Thanks Doug, my Arc-Finity has my CPF Arc head on it and it`s bright for sure. The only reason I will probably buy a Ultra is so I can return the Arc head to its body. Also CMG has a better positive contact point in my opinion...less likely to wear out over time.Originally posted by mr.glow:
Ken.....Just an FYI (brightness)
The Ultra G with fresh alk.cell measured 205 on the little G.E. meter.
By comparison, MY Infinity measured 100+ with a fresh alk.installed.
Regular ARCFinity=240
LE.........ARCFinity=295
All: same meter, same batteries.
Edit: batteries were swapped between the two units and produced exactly the same results.
