Music to the Marrow (To What Are You Listening?)

That was the first song I learned on guitar.
I wanted an electric guitar but couldn't afford one. (especially living out in the middle of BFE in the 70s)
My mom said she'd get me one if I learned how to play on the acoustic first.
My b-day is in SEPT and she got me a 3/4 parlor guitar from the JC Penny catalogue for my b-day. It cost like $16 or something. That and the "Play Rock Guitar Today" book.

I learned several songs in the next month, this being the first one. It's only a 2-chord song with slight variances in those chords thru' the song.
I had a spankin' new electric strat copy by Christmas. LOL

Mark Knoephler said his first guitar was an electric but his dad couldn't afford to buy an amp to go with it so he learned how to pluck the strings loudly. Hence is style of playing.
Look ma no pick.

Dig that giant Walkman that was really small in its day.

Was supposed to be "In the Garden of Eden."
But a certain someone couldn't sing the words due to being too drunk.

Man, that takes me back! Would you believe I have that song on a factory reel to reel tape, in the original box? Yep! Picked it up decades ago at a yard sale or some such--I honestly don't remember how I got it. LOOOONG song!
