Got my flashlight (XPG2 PDTc version with extra thermal pad cooling) the day before christmas and have tested it for a few days now so here are my comments.
It definitely packs a very powerful punch for it size, clearly the best I know of!!
I would say it has a perfekt mix of throw and flod for midrange to long use (size and focus of the beam makes it less useful
on closer range, but again thats not what its made for ;-)).
Easily 400m useful range (maybe 500 too) in real life testing sofar and that with a big useful spot, very impressive indeed!!
Build quality (both from Eagtac and mods by Vin) is superb, so you get what your paying for.
My one small complaint is about tint that I have to say feels quite to very green on the 2 lowest settings, however it feels very nice at the 2 highest settings in real use. Worth noting is that we have snow right now so green is easily spotted when everythings white and it believe it would be less of a problem without snow.
In Sweden flashlights are actually called "ficklampa" (meaning pocketlight) and this one does fit in my winterjacket pocket, maybe the most powerful "pocketlight" out there?
I would say size is ok to carry in a big pocket but the weight is definitely a bit on the heavy side for a pocket though (100grams less or more would be great).
Vin, no dubble tailcaps or bezels in my box either unfortunately.
