Man I have the worst luck. I need some advice. I just got my new RRT-0 R5 an hour ago. I installed a charged rcr123 (aw) battery the correct way. I tested it out and all was fine. I went to the post office and came back and the light was on low. I picked it up to turn it off and the clicky isnt working. I clicked it and the light stayed on. I twisted the dial and it flickered and shut off. I tried it again. On high it flickeded and stayed on for a second and shut off. I took the battery out and the tailcap smelled like burnt electrical really bad. The head smells OK.

So did my clicky fry? What to do? I have other clickies here for other lights. I called and emailed lightjunction.. (on edit they are sending me a new clicky)

Just my freaken luck.....

OK I dug through all my flashlight boxes and one of them had a spare clicky that fit. I got brave and removed the toasted clicky and installed the new one. Light is working again.

WTF?

If you clean the original switch and put it back in I bet it will work. ;)
