Well, I just got a new mini maglite. I got the Nite Ize IQ Switch and the TerraLUX TLE-5EX dropin for it also. Someone asked me to post my results so here it is. I used normal duracell and rechargeable 2500mah nimh energizer batteries. I still can't figure out if i should use the stock tailcapor if the iq switch should be on. I'd like opinions please!

Nice comparison, Suzuki. Either tailcap should be fine. It's never brighter using the NiteIze, but then you do get the different levels.

Thanks. Yeah, i dunno it's a hard decision. I either get the different levels of brightness and the push button or i get no button but a bright light. I haven't used enough flashlights and or know enough about them to be able to really pick! I use my lights in the woods, on pitch black roads, basements, in the house and thats pretty much it. I mean its tons brighter than any other light i've used/owned but i don't know which cap is more worth it in the long run.
