:grin2::grin2:Package arrived from Bugoutgear today. Awesome torch, the look, the feel in the hand, the clip is excellent. and now that it is dark I can really start to enjoy. Slide in one of the AW 14500's that I got and Wham, light up the night. This little baby is bright for it's size. I am loving it already. My new EDC!! The UI is good, I will play with it a bit more over the next few days/nights and suss it out. Top effort Jetbeam and BUGoutgear.:twothumbs:twothumbs:twothumbs

Congrats in getting one of the best AA throwers out there. IIRC, I think the factory default didn't set the "max" at maximum output, so remember to set it again if you want the max.

I have had one for a couple months well actually two I ordered the neutral version after I fell in love with the R2 model. It seems these lights is just becoming more insanely popular everyday, there are more post about people getting it and loving it or about to order it every time I look.

I can totally understand why 14500 light as bright as cr123x2, nice UI to suit just about everyone, fit and finish top notch, excellent throw with very usable spill, very pocketable and you knowing you can always find AA's if needed in a quick pinch. Their is plenty of other nice things to say about this light but I won't bore you anymore with it and most have been covered elsewhere.

I use my Jet-1 Pro daily as my edc, it has replaced all my other lights as my goto. set up a low for long runtime, high for incredible throw!!! Gotta love the 2-way clip! Let a friend of mine from work borrow it to take home and it blew his mind how much light could be gotten from a single aa, blew his 2d Mag away!!! I think I may have converted another one:naughty:

It is a fine light, bright, small and well made. A favorite of mine.

I bought the Q3 neutral tint version so I'd have an AA neutral tint light for outdoor use, and liked it so much, I got the R2 version, a 14500, and a charger.

The R2 version is now my AA EDC / casual wear EDC and the Q3 is my main camping/hiking/fishing/hunting light (not that I don't have at least a couple on these outings).

It does have a great UI and impressive throw for a single AA.

I wonder if they could make a smaller version for a single CR123 - just like the Jet 1 Pro...not the Raptor. They have the 2 x CR123 Jet III Pro ST, so what they need is a 1 x CR123a version. Since the Jet 1 Pro will handle 14500s, maybe all that is needed is a 1 x CR123 body tube?

Oh, JETBeam.....
