Looks like my new TR DF 003 is going to eventually corrode away.
I've got pitting around the lanyard attachment point. 1 dive on it.
The little metal spring clip that the lanyard attaches to must have nicked the anodizing and now when submerged with tail cap in the off position the light shorts through the surrounding water, turns itself on in a very dim mode and begins to bubble/corrode where the anodizing is gone around the little hole for the spring clip.
Could I just epoxy over any pitting to try and seal it off?
What about changing the switch?
If all else fails it would make a great fish bonker.
