My Other Mod, Partial Fail

Everything was going well with the second 55W globe and ballast, except I did THIS !!

Other than this it didn't turn out too bad I guess. Guess which one is going to be my work/knock around light.



I was going to make it focusable externally, but after dropping the reflector I lost interest in doing anymore than necessary.

Actually this one focuses down a little tighter than my other one. I assume it is because of the shallower reflector ??

It's still cool.....even if you did get burly with your reflector. So...you're not going to tell us how that happened, oh white robed one....(looking at your reflection in the 3rd pic)

LOL !! I think it possibly had something to do with the beers at my mates place(he has his own keg and only lives 3 houses down from me, a very dangerous situation) before doing the mod. and Wild Turkey chasers during. But hey i'm on holidays, I was just doing everything I love only all at once.

HA,HA ! Actually it is a HUGE T-Shirt. I bought some online once and they sent me XXXL instead of XL so I just use them for working in the garage.


I put 2 thumb screws(salvaged from the leftover telescope parts) in the head so it's really quick to change the focus whenever I want to. You can't just buy a reflector anywhere can you ? Or would they cost more than buying another torch ?
