My review on DX Sku 5435 & 5444: Cree Q4 CR123's

I just got my DX Cree Q4 1xCR123's, SKU 5435 & 5444. They are the same light, one is Military Green the other is Black. They're 95% as bright as my P1D CE Q5's. They have bottom reverse clickys and do not have memory, and my P1D CE Q5's (twistys) also do not have memory. The DX Q4's bottom clickys can be abit sensitive if they are already clicked ON, a light pressure half click puts them in the next mode.

I like the length of the DX Q4's and the bottom clickys. Their longer body feels better in my hand when gripping it in a fist, and its just a Thumb click to operate.

I've only had my P1D's for less than a week, and only with Duracell RC123 3.0v's. I also just ordered Tenergy RCR123 3.0v 900mAh kit

You are lucky, i got mine DOA and had to fix it now its working but the body got scratched everywhere mine is the green version. Nice tint and really bright.

I replaced the tailcap with orange coloured one, looks nice with the green body. yay!

I'll revise my review a tad bit. The DX 5435 & 5444 have a short term memory when switching modes. They'll return to default/normal after about a minute when turned off.

After afew weeks of using them as a EDC. I've noticed sometimes the light flickers/dims a teeny bit, like the voltage is swinging bellow cutoff. The batt is newly charged, with only afew mins run time.

Sign of cheepish reg board/components?

might be a dirty contact somewhere in the flashlight or weaken switch module.
