I was goofing arouind with my LO ROP bulb with 3 CR123a's, I tried to run the bulb with them, however the bulb would not light. I then put my ROP bulb back into my 2C ROP LE, The bulb wouldn't lite, The filiment was not brocken and my voltometer (or whatever you call it) showed that a current could go through the bulb. What is up with this, is my bulb shot? how could this have happend, I didn't instaflash it, cause there was no flash. Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure I understood what you wrote, but are you getting voltage across the positive and negative contacts on the bulb holder? If so, how much?

I have that happen with mine sometimes when I switch bulbs. I usually have to play around with the bulb sitting in the socket. It seems to lose connection there a bit. If I fiddle with it, usually it will fire up in a few tries.

I've had a similar problem, usually the result of running the ROP low for too long and the lead / solder on the base of the bulb melts, creating a poor connection to the stock Mag lamp assembly.

Solution? I haven't tried soldering a new "base" on the bulb... replacement is the only reliable solution I've come upon.
