my wolfeyes 9M shuts off when batteries got hot?

There is something wrong with my wolf eyes Pila 150A batteries. The flashlight turn quiet hot after 10 min of use while I was using it to fix my PC.

The light shuts off when batteries got hot.

Are my batteries defective ?
is this common problem with old Pila 150A 3.7 V batteries?

You dont say how old your batteries are.
Have you tested them with a digital multi meter? (a must have item)
This will give you an idea what charge they are holding or not.

I am using stock lamp, stock batteries. Batteries are 3yrs old. I don't use them much. I occasionally recharge them by putting them into my flashlight and use the rear cap charger.

My 9M Cobra is old. I bought from a dealer that went out of business. I can't recall the dealer name. He was advertising on CPF but he was acting maliciously against other dealer here thus he was banned. His business went downhill from there on.

This light should still be on sale some where. I saw it on other websites.

Lighthound use to carry it, and not very long ago as I recall.

Lighthound doesn't carry it anymore, it doesn't show under their wolfeyes section. PTS also shows nothing, which is pretty surprising to me. I googled it, came back with NADA on any 9Ms for sale. It's weird, wolfeyes didn't say anything about discontinuing it.
