MyoLight I'd like to Modify - Need Suggestions

I have an Petzl Myolight from 5/6 years ago. It has a zoom focus on it to go from Flood to spot. My needs and uses are changing and I am wondering if the light can be modified. I noticed the new are using a Xenon bulb.

Has anyone modded the battery pack, as Petzl warns against using rechargables, which I have been using for a year? I did not know about the warning.

Is there a light mod that I can make to have a brighter light?

Has no one ever modded one of these with a brighter light. There must be something I can do with but not sure what to use.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to switch from halogen to xenon it can be done easily as long as you find a bulb with the same voltage specs.

I you have the oldest myo without any 5mm leds you can look at this mod.

The myo led is very hard to mod to power LED as it has almost no room inside and a plastic housing.
