Hi All...
I need to know if anyone else has this combo and what they did to make it work?
I think the problem is that the SF M neck adaptor for the big leef system is a few thousands too deep and the bottom of the MZP7-3 cone doesn't make contact with the bare aluminum at the bottom of the M neck adaptor. I believe I can see the gap but I haven't measured it or checked continuity yet. ( I had to fix the railing on the upstairs steps instead of playing with flashlights ).
I tested the body and cells with a FM MN bulb tower and it works fine because the outer spring makes up the difference in space.
I tested the MZP7-3 with the stock M6 body and FM 3x17670 holder and it works fine as well.
My thoughts are to form a piece of copper wire into the diameter of the bottom of the neck and drop it into place and screw the head back on. I figure it will stay in place when the head is tight. Or, I could try and find some washer in the hardware store and drill it out.
If anyone has any ideas or has had this problem, let me know.
Thanks
