It appears that these are the top dogs right now in regards to a good mix of throw and spill. I have seen the Nailbender and really like that it has a good even mix of throw and flood. It did not have as intense of a hotspot as my M60 out far, but it probably had about 100 more feet lit up. Does anyone have both? Impressions? Beamshots perhaps! How is the Moddoo throw compared to an M60?

I am also wondering if anyone is making a XP-G dropin that isnt green. All of the beamshots I have seen have been a green color that I really dont like and dont think would work well in the snow.

Thanks
Zach

I have the nailbender SST-90 3-mode in bored Surefire 6P 1x18650. It is brighter than the SST-50.

Here's a beamshot with my ROP hi:

And here's my SST-90 in a Solarforce L2 before boring my 6P:

What I love about the nailbender SST-90 is the bright as hell spill and large diffused spot that smoothly blends into the spill. I use this light a couple times a week during my night walks with my wife. It lights up a wide area in front of us and turns night into day. I get about 1 hour of regulated output and another hour of diminishing direct drive light until the my 3000mAh 18650 protection circuit kicks in. Perfect since we walk for an hour.

Nailbender will answer all your questions and his quality and service is top notch. Highly recommended! :twothumbs

I had the Moddoo Tripple R2 and it appeared to be more floody than the Naibender SST-50.

They both have white beams, but the SST-50 has a perfect beam with OP reflector.

My Tripple XR-E was 560 OTF vs. my SST-50 was 470 OTF
