Many years ago I purchased a Fenix TK70 for my birthday. I decided to treat myself and spent about $240.00 on the light, a battery charger, 4 high capacity NIMH D cells, and a tactical pen. In a nutshell, the light was\is great, the charger cooked batteries, the batteries stunk (Tenergy), and the tactical pen I still laugh at every time I think of it. It seems everything these days is "tactical". I have no idea what became of the pen, the batteries no longer keep a charge longer than 2 weeks even if not used, and I threw out the charger. I tried some Powerex cells, but they were worse. Anyhow, I want to get my TK70 to work with one 26650 cell. I am not aware of an adapter that will do this. Can anybody help??

That normally runs on 4-D cells”6 volts “. I’m not sure you can run it off of a single 3.7-4.2 volts.

I have made a few 26650 adapters for 3 D cell lights, I don't make one for 4D lights because the Voltage may be too low for most lights. If I remember right, doesn't the TK70 have a removable tube that turns it into a 3 cell light?

The TK70 is able to run off 3 D's. Part of the tube just screws off. Maybe there is a D to 26650 adapter, and then use 2 D dummy cells, if something like that is made???:geek:

Edit: I just thought of something else. If the part of the tube that is removable will screw into the back of the head of the light, it would make this a lot easier! Will check when I get home!

a 26650 is too long for 1 D, but will fit in a 2D tube with an adapter.
