Need help with finding an O-ring for a discontinued 4Sevens Mini CR2.

I really love the 4Sevens Mini CR2 flashlight that I bought back in 2012. I believe the light was introduced in 2010 or 2009. Ancient but still good.
Two years ago, I found an eBay seller that was selling the O-rings for that light and I was going to buy a bag, but it was a little expensive. The original O-ring for the Mini CR2 was a bit crap and only lasted a few years. Now I go back to eBay and can't find a trace of that seller or even the messages I exchanged with him. I've googled and cannot find anywhere on the Internet any way to replace the O-ring for the 4Sevens Mini CR2. I asked the help of my friends here on CPF please. Thank you!

The ACE hardware just down the street from my house has a display with hundreds of different sized o-rings. Maybe something near you has the same.

Or you could measure the diameter and width of the channel where the o-ring will rest and then look up the correct size on an o-ring website. Even a cheap pair of calipers could do this task. https://www.harborfreight.com/6-in-composite-digital-caliper-63586.html

o-rings are a commodity product, these should be really inexpensive and easy to find.

👆 that digital caliper is fairly acurate. Not machinist acurate but definitely DIY'r acurate enough.

I may have to buy those if I want this light to work bad enough. I went through all the o-rings at my hardware store yesterday. I found one that would have worked diameter wise, but it was too fat.

My typical go-to for O-rings is McMaster-Carr. A little more expensive, but good selection in silicone and buna in metric and otherwise. Yeah, you'll probably have to buy a bag of 100.

Have you asked at Prometheus Lights/4 Sevens if they know what size you need? Nothing left of the original rings to measure? Measuring the grooves might work, but could be tricky to translate the grooves into real world o-ring size needed. You may have to try a couple of different sizes.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the help and advice on the O -ring. Luckily, a friendly CPFer happened to have a spare o-ring that fit, and did me a solid. She's back in action now!
