I will be getting my new E1B and E2DL on Thursday next week. I was planning on using some rechargeables with them, and have settled on the 3.0v AW LiFePO4 RCR123's (I think thats what they are called)

Couple of questions:
Using the WF-138 charger, say if I use up a single rcr123 in my E1B, can I just charge a single battery in the charger? Or do they always need to be charged in pairs?

I was thinking about getting 6 batteries: 2 in the E2Dl, 1 in the E1b, and then 3 charging/spares. Will that be sufficient?

I thought about using the 3.7 RCR123's in the E2DL, but figured I can live with the run time for now, and will feel a bit safer running the 3.0's.

Thanks.

Don't quote me on this but I don't think the WF-138 will charge 3.0volt cells. I believe it is for 3.7 LiIon's only. I know there is a Nano charger for the 3.0v but last I remember the WF-138 was a 3.7v.

I stand corrected. The WF138 does do 3.0v My bad (ok I'm on dial up and lately the DX website pictures have either failed or take WAY to long to load.)
