NEED HELP XTAR SSC-P7-C2

I JUST RECIEVED MY NEW LIGHT I CHARGED THE BATTERIES AND WENT TO TURN IT ON AND THE HIGH MODE GOES ON THEN OFF IN LESS THAN A SEC. I TRIED THE OTHER BATTERY I GOES ON IN HIGH MODE FOR 2-3 SECS THEN GOES OFF... I AM NEW TO THESE KINDS OF LIGHTS WHAT O I DO..........

IIRC there is a problem with the batteries protection circuit, that could be the cause of the problem. Send them an email and see what they can do.
