Not sure what topic this is best suited too so I placed it here...

I have a neighbor that just finished installing a really jamming "outdoor" entertainment center with big screen hi def etc... Now this is what I must listen to each night instead of enjoying my own backyard, patio and hot tub with the wife until 10:00pm just about EVERY dang night. http://members.cox.net/junkmitch/Neighbors.AVI
I have asked nicely and not so nicely to no avail. The local police are overworked enough and this will be a very low priority so not much help there. Fighting fire with fire (IE loud rock) puts me also in violation and will PO the good neighbors I have even more.

My legal solution before I try court is to use the 25 Acriche AX2223 boards I have with aspherical lens's to blast back at their patio whenever the decimal level at my patio table reaches a point that my wife and I cannot hear each other speak with ease. I would like any technical advice I can get for a simple decimal switch to do the job?

Thanks in advance....

Decimal switch = Decibel switch, I think. Just looked at the video no way I could put up with that racket.
Looking for a circuit that will switch the LED banks on at a set decimal level.
Looking for a circuit that will switch the LED banks on at a pre-set noise level.

That would be a preset DECIBEL level.

Knowing what you are looking for helps.

Google circuit switch sound level for many different variations and applications. Also check your local Radio Shack book section on op-amps. Radio Shack also has sound meters you can buy to calibrate your unit.

Screw all of that. You are being too nice. Irradiate his backyard with very high levels of RF or Microwave. Find a way to scramble his equipment.
