Need some info for my first Solitare mod.

So I am a noobie and this will be my first attempt at a mod so I decided to do it on a Solitare I have sitting in the drawer for years.
But I need some clearification on the mod.

1. Which LED to use..5mm but RadioShack has ones from 1100mcd to 2600mcd or should I go with a higher mcd LED...I want the most from a 3 button cell.

2. The RS Led's come in 2.6v up to 3.7v how much volts do I need?

3. If I use the MN21/23 battery will a LED with like 50000mcd make a very bright little light or is the LED mcd maxed out at a certain output with this battery?

4. Sorry for the stupid questions...did I mention this is my first attempt at a mod? :thinking:

Have you considered this upgrade to your Solitaire? It's a very easy drop-in.

The drop-in at the Shoppe is much easier, but the mod is a good exercise and a start to your forthcoming illustrious modding career.
