I'm looking for the best outdoor performance, and want to know if I should get a flashlight with Neutral tint (eg. Q4 5B or Q3 5A), or a warm tint?

Based on your personal opinion, does one render the outdoor better (in terms of clarity--since cool LED's make everything seem pale white).

And extra question: how do warm/neutral LED's compare in terms of visual performance with incandescent.

ps. Q4 5B's are available at flashlight connection for $11.24 shipped.

The neutral tints seem to be around 4000K, which should be fairly warm compared to a "cool white" led. Hopefully my L-mini II Q3 5C will arrive, and if I have time I will try to post some beamshots that show how well it does at color rendition.

They fall into what I consider an ideal region between incandescent and cool white LED in terms of color outdoors. Incans tend to give too much of a yellow cast (even the very bright overdriven ones) and cool whites wash out detail. the 3A-5A tints illuminate plants and wildlife in a way that looks "right". As usual though ymmv, and sometimes lights labled as 5A are actualy some random warm white bin, which could give the wrong impression.

That happened to me.

I got 2 Q35A from someone and one of them was very bright with just a hint of warmth that rendered color pretty well while the other one was dimmer and certainly yellow that rendered color very well.

I found a good use for each and am happy with the end results but that's good advice above, 1 LED does not provide the true measure of a particular bin.
