never thought i\'d modify.....

can't believe i'm thinking this, (this forum is to blame)but what's up with this "Mc Gizmo"? I who sells it? (couldn't find anything on google) rather than risk butchering one of my sacred surefires, I'd rather start from scratch and build. i saw that poliched chrome bezel down steel clip body. i thought i was ahead of the curve with my modest collection, this site can be a humbling experience.

McGizmo is a CPF member. Look on the main index and you will find he has his own forum. He's responsible from many, many flashlight creations.

McGizmo is a magical beast that uses a module like the Mr. Fusion you see in the movie Back To The Future. Actually it runs on hamburger, Chinese noodles, tacos and wildebeast.

The way it produces light is to transmute complex elements into more simple elements, recombine those simple elements and arrange them into physically compatabible but distinctly different objects.

It can be very picky about input but the output is usually very good.

I recall being a bit uneasy about taking a perfectly good SureFire E1 and chucking it in the lathe to do it harm.
