Making the most of my new AAA LED from LHound, I've also got a pair of 10440s and UFire charger (WF 138). after I charged both cells I put one to use in the Lhnd AAA and it worked great!! hi power and on low long run time! excellent!!! when I attempted to charge the 10440 again it would not accept a charge. I then used the remaining 10440 with the same problem at the second recharge. it would not accept the charge.
Any idea as to what's causing this?😕
The people at Lighthound are very cool and said they would help with the 10440 issue.

What voltage were they when you pulled them out of the light. If they were unprotected cells, you may have overdischarged them and damaged the cells, if they are protected and the protection circuit tripped, the cells will be reading 0 volts. Did you use the cells till the light was dim or did it just flick off.

If it is a protection circuit issue, there may be hope for your cells, if you over discharged the cells and damaged them, they are only good for the bin.

First rule of LiIon cell ownership, is that you need to get a multimeter and check your cells regularly
