You know thats just what I was thinking but I wasn't going to say it =X It also appears as the light does not give the output it should this day in age from 4 leds with 123 batteries but who am I to judge

I forgot to add to the review - draw was 80 mA - or 20mA per LED - looks like they're driving it to almost exactly Nichia specs. It's not metal so heatsinking would be a little tough...
