Its been a while since I posted and was wondering if a bright neutral 500 Plus lumen light is available from any manufacture. I have a Eagletac TX25C2 and love it (except for the sporadic switching). It has a great beam profile and I find I like the neutral output better than the cool white. I also have a Fenix PD 35 which would be Ideal if it were neutral. I am not looking for a thrower but something that uses 2 CR123A s and has a broad but not floody beam profile.

Any ideas?

I have also been searching for a warmer/throwy 18650 for my EDC bag. It doesn't really seem to exist. The TN12 is available in "neutral" although just how warm it is, I'm not sure. I hope someone can chime in with some suggestions.

There are loads, I would recommend the SC600w MKII L2 as the pick of the bunch but which suits you best will be down to personal preference.

Well Fenix has several using neutral T6 bin emitters. The TK22 Special Edition Grey is using a neutral xm-l2. And it has a fantastic beam since it's using the "lossless op" reflector (micro-textured).

Fenix lights are great my first Single AA was a Fenix and I still use it sometimes.

So the T6 bin emitters are warm , Good to know Thanks martinaee

I have the Zebralight SC 52 and really like it for the size the modes available and the beam and that its AA. But when I got the Eagletac TX25C2 I was blown away. Since I don't use the lights every day and didn't want lithium rechargeable batteries was wondering does the SC600w MKII L2 use CR 123A cells? .

The SC600 doesn't take CR123 I'm afraid. The TK22 suggested above might be the better bet.

Thanks All I think I am going Fenix TK 22 Special edition Grey. Just one more question regarding it . Based seflbuilt's review of the PD 35 and the Eagletac TX25C2 and the published throw of the Fenix TK 22 Grey special edition I've concluded that the Fenix TK 22 has a throw closer to the the Eagletac than the Fenix PD 35.

Is that about right?
