New camera: Light/knife pics

Nice, what kind of camera did you get?
Are you going to try taking some outdoor beamshots?
I keep thinking I'm going to go out and get some really nice
beam shots with my Canon 50D, but so far, they have all come
out under exposed! practice, I guess :confused:

I ended up getting this camera http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16830122161.

Seemed like a nice middle point to see if one of us was going to get into photography enough to go for a REALLY nice one.

Once I fully figure out how it works I'll take some beam shots of my ROP/Mag85 VS my SMO reflector EO9, and I need to order a cheapish tripod.

On a side note i've had that Kershaw for 7 years now, and I finally re-profiled the blade about a year ago, it's scary sharp now.

Sweet Microtech, I carry one with the carbon fiber scales. I love it but wish I could find another at the price I paid. I believe Microtech has moved attention to their firearms business and the UTX70 is one blade that got pushed to the side.
