I'm trying to figure out why it doesn't work with a fully charged PILA 600P which works perfectly in my new Fenix TK12.

I've tried tightening the tailcap and head, multiple clicking, etc.

Any ideas?

Is it a flat-topped cell like the old Pila cells that I have? The Eagletac T20C2 mkII has a positive terminal that works with button-topped cells only.

If it's a flat topped battery, you could remove the black ring that's on the positive terminal on the head.

It's the polarity protection incorporated to make sure it doesn't contact with the flat bottom on the negative side of batteries.

ie. you void your lifetime warranty. :ohgeez:

if you remove this protection ring - you MUST make sure to not insert a battery backwards!

It will happen eventually - in a hurry, in the dark, etc -
use a proper button top battery so you don't have to worry about it.

Thanks for that information. My Pilas are flat-tops. What button-topped cells would you recommend?

Too bad the Pila battery didn't come with a magnetic button. I recently got an AW 18650 2600 mah that is flat topped but it came with a magnetic button. Unless you need some other stuff, it would be rather expensive to get just the button online. And I have no clue where you would find a little magnet elsewhere, but I'm sure they can be found.
