Does surefire have any new products being planned in the incan segment?
Something better/brighter than the M6?
But not the beast, and NOT in the beast price range.
Something like an M9, with 9 123 batteries, 9 volts but three times the amps? Or the M12 with 12 volts, 3 times the amps, and 750 lumens for an hour, and the HOLA is 1500 lumens for 20 min?
Or how about this....
(i was thinking about this last night)
Take a surefire M6, and put a 10 watt HID bulb in it. Or make a custom body, which will take 3 parallel rows of either 3 or 4 batteries... for a total of 9 or 12 123a batteries. That would be awesome. Kinda like the miniHID, using a cut m*g, but with MORE runtime.
My personal goal, is something NO larger than a 2D m*g, OR, a lengthened M6 body, (cause I think the m6 body looks awesome) with a 3"-4" turbo head, and OVER 600 lumens for OVER 4 hours.
The above light would be the most awesome light I have ever seen.
Have a good one.
