I think the reason Frisco sounds so frustrated is because they are already sold out :(

Btw, will these modules be able to run in a Mag 2D will 6x NiMH AA cells (using 3AA to D holders)?
 
i dont think theyve been sold yet...just put on the site for info ,but im assuming they will be put on sale real soon ,so keep on that site 24/7 to snag one

It is sized to fit a D sized light. Any battery combination up to 9 volts is ok. It pulls 3.5A at 6 volts. Runtimes will vary depending upon the number and type of cells used. It is quite efficient considering that output is more than 16 watts.

Hey Zot I guessed u missed it, was asking about this setup is using a 6AA-2D batter holder. So do the math its about 0.58A per cell only.
