What would be the best battery option to run this thing in a 6C light? Think 6 alkaline Cs will hold up, or will they be too wimpy?

It is sized to fit a D sized light. Any battery combination up to 9 volts is ok. It pulls 3.5A at 6 volts. Runtimes will vary depending upon the number and type of cells used. It is quite efficient considering that output is more than 16 watts.

Hey Zot I guessed u missed it, was asking about this setup is using a 6AA-2D batter holder. So do the math its about 0.58A per cell only.
