Put my badboy 400 module from wayne to work a couple of weeks ago at the silverdome to spot light the honor guard while playing the anthem at the pro stadium truck racing fest. oh yea there were monster trucks there to.

YOUR BB400 SPOTLIGHTS THAT GUARD WELL!!!!

I bet lots of CPFers will be queueing up to get that BB400 from you. It's simply amazing...

Can I be first in the queue?

Seriously am I wrong in assuming that the honour guard you are talking about is on the right hand side? What collimator/reflector did you use?

4 amps ain't a lot of current. You don't need 74D cells. the usual 6 is enough. 6C cells for that matter will do. For a LS to draw 4 amps, you need to drive a 5 watter at 10-15 watts.... hmm... You better implement heat pipe technology on that sucker.... it's HOT baby...

*Edit* 4 amps x 7 volts = 28 watts... (WTF!!!!)

It's just impossible. A usual spotlight in a stadium uses 1000W level halogen bulbs---and in that level the efficiency of an incandecent bulb is quite high---actually higher than current Luxeon LEDs. Are you making another "25W Luxeon in a MiniMag" joke?

Yep its the beam on the right. actually its running off 120 volt ac, with a full wave bridge rectifier for dc conversion. i use a 3 core diesel radiator from a 1998 peterbuilt for a heat sink with a apache helicopter rotor blades providing the air to cool it.

no way, this is not a joke. the hardest part of the modification was talking the d.o.d. into letting me have the apache. i traded some old 2 aa mag light incandesent bulbs for it.
