Its claiming 360 meters for throw...I'm not sure that's in super thrower territory now a days, but, its still a useful #.

If they claimed 700 M, sure, but it would be hard to due given the other specs, etc.

I need to see the beams...the beams are what tell me what the lights USE can be.

😀

Think an XT-20 tube and switch with a larger single emitter reflector. Should be a very decent light for those who think the XT-20 is too floody.
Might even be great to mount on a varmint type rifle.

This new light sounds like a thrower.

Specially designed deep parabolic reflector produces a perfect beam profile and
super long throw ability.

You don't say!:grin2:

Sorry I had to do that.
I am interested on how well it will hold up against the other throwers in this category, ie. Olight m3x, catapult ...

The naming of the light has not been settled yet. It may not be numbered "30"

Personally I think "30" denotes a triple emitter.

A great seeing klarus engineer new lights for their company the xt30 might be a really great thrower i wonder if its gonna look anything like the xt20?

Klarus is short on a pure thrower IIRC...they have floody lights mostly. The XT20 is floody, the XT11 is floody, etc...the XT30, if based upon the XT20 tube, with a larger head and single LED would probably be designed for throw, as that's mostly what a larger head is for, and a single LED typically is to throw as well, etc.

Great, just great...my wallet is still smoking, and they go and pull THAT crap? REALLY? sheesh

if its using the xt20 tube I hope they put threads for the combat ring so you dont have to add extra orings to keep it from spinning

Already there are pictures.
Looks like a good thrower with smooth reflector.
