New lathes and gearboxes

I have just opened up the feed gearbox and it like the carriage was FULL of metal shavings. I am pretty sure they COME with all of this as when I first got the machine I took the carriage off and cleaned it. I used a can of brakeleen on each box and it cleans them spotless. The ground is usually black in shavings and the gearbox looks squeaky clean. I would HIGHLY recommend this to prolong your gearbox as of yet I have to find another shaving in the carriage after doing this.
