It`s called the CCXtreme. It is a focusable single LED using 3 "c" batteries. Looks like the Expedition body. They say it would be great if you are morooned on an island as it has extreme batt. life. Price $40.00. I would put a link here for those who may be interested but I still have not figured out how.

The trouble with CCrane`s site is that it`s split into frames and all pages show the same address in the browser address bar. I think this link will take you straight to the CC Extreme page though...

Looks like a great light, but i hate it when battery life is exagerated. Unless this is some new technology LED that we've never heard about before, the only way this is gonna run for 500 hrs is if we count the hundreds of hours when it runs very dimly. Either way, still looks like a very useful light.
On another page, www.ccrane.com/2_led_flange_bulb.asp , they have a 2 LED PR base type bulb and they say it runs brightly for 50 hours on 3 D cells. That sounds like a more honest and realistic approach to stating battery life.
