Greetings to all , and I just would like to
say that It's nice to have so many people in
this forum that are crazy as I am about
flashlights. I own as most of you, way too
many and am not yet satisfied . I'm working
as well on some LS protos and appreciate all
the free info and pictures . My current every
day arsenal is SFM6 , Innova x5(great light)
Arcwhite(cool) Black Diamond"moonglow"
(headlamp) and various prototypes . Oh I
almost forgot about my first serious light ,
the Magcharger .

torcher,

Welcome! We don't judge people here because of their flashlight problems. We're here to help and understand. Counseling is available 12/7 (gotta shine the lights at night you know).

Before you can call yourself a bonafide member you need to take the CPF oath:

I, (state your name), do affirm that I will be faithful to all things flashlights without regard for make, model or price. I will faithfully defend Energizer and Duracell batteries, use the family cat for eye tests and complain about the high cost of lithium batteries.

I will honor the debate between lumens and candlepower. I will not disparage those who aren't Surefire believers even though it is them and not I who are going to hell for their foolish beliefs.

I will also post cheap battery prices when I find them, give flashlights as gifts, own many more than any sane person needs content with the knowledge that owning just one more will not be enough. I will also wonder what size15s does for a living that gives him enough free time to post as often as he does here and on the SureFire site and what exactly is size 15 and why does it need an "s" after it.

Upon completion of the oath, you will be legit and, by the power vested in you through the internet, be able to administer the oath to others.

I don't really use it that often , mainly
because of the cost of those cr123's . I'm
an electrician by trade and I like to keep
it in my tool bags just in case I need to
blast my way out of a crawl space in the
ceiling or something . Plus the cool factor
of having 225 or 500 lumens at your disposal
is just that . My main work light I forgot to mention though is my Ikelight PCa . It's
an 6AA compact divelight and very bright ,
It suits my needs most of the time . I use
rayovac nimh rechargeables in it with more
than satisfactory results , and for marathon
dark encounters I'll pull out my one of my
LED lights .

Welcome to the Forums.

I'm a Moderator here, and I don't often have to wear that hat. Most people who don't fit in anywhere else due to their illumination-tool addiction, will find themselves at home here.

You have got off to a great start by having an M6. I must find about more about SureFires. They have a website don't they?

I work for an International Industry Association in the Structural Testing Department.
Of course I have no time to surf at work, and would never dream of such things. Far too many computer games on the network for surfing!!

I couldn't think of a tag...
It's my UK shoe-size. There is an "s" because I have two feet therefore requiring a pair of "size 15s"

To the shopkeeper: "Do you have any size 15s?"
From most people I know: "Move your damn size 15s out the way!"
Shocked: "Size 15s?!

Do you have..."
etc etc

When I say I'm interested in torches, I get strange looks. They sometimes think I said "tortures". Not that I Moderate on such forums.
