I notice the specs are identical to the old version, down to the 120m beam distance. A simple copy and paste or is the 90+ CRI 319A completely identical performance wise to the 75+ CRI XM-L2?

I'm definitely grabbing one of each in the turbo. The blue one will get the vn mod with the w1 from skylumen and the titanium one will stay stock. Can't wait. I really wish they'd do a run of Quarks in this colorway and material.

I'd just be guessing, but perhaps this will lend a clue to the more trained / knowledgable eye.

That is the most recently purchased MiNI MK III.

Edit / Addendum - Yes, there's an optic, but I'm not positive of the material it's constructed from.

Concerning the galvanic corrosion, wouldn't the blue anodizing be sufficient protection?

I sure don't need another light, but I like my blue Quark so much I might have to get a blue Mini to match. I love the emitter, but wondering if the beam is a similar nice smooth punchy flood as the Quark, or if that optic collimates the beam more than I would like. If the optic is the same as the previous model, can anyone comment on the beam pattern compared to the MKIII Quarks? Thanks.

I'd probably buy the solid 6160. No need for Ti
