In the mailbox...

We gunaasee what this bad boy can do!

On my original SRT7, NITECORE called my ex-wife and asked her what color temperature LED they should install in the light... I wonder if they consulted her on this upgraded model!

I was looking at the SRT7i too. It has the rotary control on the tail cap instead of behind the head. I liked the control ring behind the head on my SRT7

I love the light for lots of reasons but the lack of a PD chip makes me sad.

Really? they can't put in a 50 cent PD chip so now I have to use a USBA<>USBC cable???

Using my own C to C cable with readout charger plugged into light I've seen the it charge at 9v 2 amp when battery depleted and top-off at 5v 1.5 amp and lower. I'm not sure if that's PD standard though...

I also got this kit with extra battery, lantern, charger + Usb power bank so I can switch the battery out of the light and go...

Still learning and using the light. It's 4 X the lumens of the 1st SRT7, throwy, easy one-hand control, instant access to two levels max and your choosing but it will get hot as hell at 3000 lumens with moderate use...

I do have that kit as well, I'm just trying to eliminate all USBA cables from my life this year. Last year was USB micro.

Thanks for the reply. If it will indeed charge with a C2C cable then I'll be happy with it even if it isn't full PD. I assumed mine wasn't working bc the charging led didn't light up when i used my C2C cable but it did with the A2C.

I'll research more and report back.

I love pretty much everything else about the light and it is my first real thrower.

SRT7i fell out of my pocket and lives at the bottom of the Ouachita River...

Can't ride the swim platform at night and not secure your lights!

Really enjoyed the power and throw of this light for the few months I had it...
