What colour are they? metallic green/black/chrome, blue/black/green, or gold?

blue/black/green and gold ones are 750 mAh.

The NM724-40P probably are also like 750 mAh.

These are AAA cells, right?

They won't be low self discharge, so right out of the pack I'm not surprised at how they performed.

If they were in the new green packaging, I believe they are 700mAh cells.

I picked up a couple packs of NM715-40P (AA cells) in the new green packaging last fall.

They also did not have the rating on them, so I sent Rayovac an e-mail about it. They sent me the data sheet for the NM715 line of batteries.

The data sheet said 2000 mAh, which matched the rating for the blue/black/green and gold Rayovac NiMh cells I already have.

I don't have a charger that can verify capacity yet, so I can't verify if what the data sheet indicates is correct for these new cells. I do know they work very well in our Wii remotes.

these are coming in around 850 mah on my c9000
the one that was way lower out of the pack is around 825.

I asked Rayovac, thier reply:

"Thank you for your message. The maH on these batteries, assuming the
batteries are the NM724-40p is 700.

Sincerely,
