General Description:
Various battery options, Luxeon LED, body built of aluminum with anodizing. This CPF Limited Edition Multi-Level Light is uC (Micro Controller) Controlled with a very simple UI (User Interface). It has two dedicated buttons for for changing the brightness. The build quality is very good.
Light Features:

  • Runs on various battery configurations with input voltage ranging from 3.6V to 9V. Batteries that are supported are 2 x CR123 or 2 x RCR123, 1 x 18650 and 1 x 17670
  • 2 dedicated buttons for changing brightness
  • uC (Micro Controller) Controlled
  • 16 light output levels, from very low to super bright
  • Luxeon III LED running at 4 Watts at max brightness
  • Can stand on tail
Light Operation:

  • Hold front switch to increase brightness / switch on
  • Hold back switch to decrease brightness / switch off
  • Pseudo Tactical Mode with memory: Choose the brightness level and loosen the tail cap by 1/2 turn, Pressing the tailcap turns on light in the selected level

It is very simple to mod this light.... this is one of those special open source lights... very easy to open, no glue, no potting .... just simple twist on bezel head and then you are ready to go....

also you can put up different reflector, different glass lens if you require. the reflector is held up by a seperate threaded aluminium ring, unlike other lights that have threaded reflectors....

very modder friendly... very easy to mod with new LED's that would be coming in future.

Nice job, ViReN! Swapping out stars o that thing looks to be about the easiest mod out there!

On your site, something I like about both Craig & Doug's sites is, where they can, stating where the light was manufactured - that's important to a lot of people (or at least me!), and I think it'd be worth putting down. :shrug:
