I Just missed it by a hair on the lightmeter reading. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Let me go remeasure that...BRB...3,830,000mcd with the beam focus adjusted for the tightest spot at 12".
This now makes it the brightest LED flashlight I've evaluated to date.

I got one of those keyring lights. Nice feel and slim design. I am a bit unsure how well the metal part will hold up to slinging around o na keyring, but its a tight race comparing the output to a dorcey single aaa light as far as brightness.

Huh. Now if they can make the color change based on how hard you're blowing the whistle, that would be cool.

Dunno about the light, but if you keep blowing in 1 continuous breath, the colour on your face will change for sure! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/twakfl.gif

cool lionheart review i like all ya reviews though.man this light rocks

I just went through this entire thread - and added it to my favorites! The neatest thing (for me) is that you evaluate a lot of products that I may have never even heard of.

Yeah Craig!

the TM311 is about 4 times brighter than the TM310 but absorb about only the double of the power. this mean that the step-up circuit have the double of efficiency at higher voltage... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Craig, your review for the VG-F2 says you havn't figured out how to change the bulb - mine comes apart at the crennelated ring and just above the flanged area on the neck. The lamp assmembly just drops out. It's a direct P60 equivalent replacement.

Waiting for reviews on the Night-Ops Gladius... keep up the good work!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleye11.gif

I tried that. My lamp assembly must be stuck in there; I even removed the bezel from the barrel and pushed in hard on the spring (with the top of the bezel and lens removed) to try and pop it out. Still no go.
Guess it's time to stick a screwdriver in there and see what happens...BBS...
ok I just now figured it out. I was unscrewing the wrong part of the bezel assembly. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/stupid.gif
The bezel assembly unscrews both near the top (where the lens is) and near the center - where you should unscrew it to change the lamp assembly. Time to go add this to my web page. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
