New S & W 123 Flashlight

Has anyone seen the new S&W 2-123 flashlight?
I got an E-Mail for CHEAPER THAN DIRT and it sounds like a relabeled Scorpion but comes with a belt pouch. I think the Retail was $47.00.

SL Scorpion can be had much cheaper than that, $30 at tanners. It wouldn't suprise me, Browning puts there name on Pelican lights and Buck Knives on UK's. Smith will put there name on anything these days, including inferior knives and optics.

I posted somethingon this a couple of weeks ago and was told it look like the one that Gals has forsale. I was also informed that it wasn't that good of light. I wrote S&W and they couldn't even provide any information about the light, sounds like they just license their logo for it.

At the SHOT Show 2002 in Vegas, There was a S&W stand (other then the gun one) for flashlights. They had a 2 cell 123A light they were working on. It was about the same as the Pelican 2 cell 123A light (it was unofficially in one of the Pelican guys pockets), but I think I preferred the Pelican more. I really hope they make it waterproof.

The downgrading of many of their models to water-resistant is a real turn off. I believe that StealthLites are no longer waterproof

As for the S&W, it looked like a 6P clone but with a tailcap switch I didn't like.
